Privacy Policy

This policy explains what BrandinAI ("we," "us") — operated by Aditya Kumar, trading as BrandinAI, an individual based in Karnataka, India — collects when you use brandinai.co and its Chrome extension (together, the "Service"), why we collect it, and who we share it with. If you're evaluating BrandinAI for your company, forward this to whoever handles data-processing review — the short version is below the fold in each section.

What we collect

Account data: your email address and authentication credentials, handled by Supabase (our auth provider) — we never see or store your password in plaintext. If you sign in with Google, Supabase handles that OAuth exchange; we receive your email and name, not your Google password.

Billing data: handled entirely by Paddle, our merchant of record. We store your plan name and subscription status; Paddle stores your payment method and billing address. We never see or store your card number.

Brand tracking data you provide: brand names, domains, competitor names, and the tracking prompts you set up (the questions you want us to ask AI assistants on your behalf).

Data BrandinAI generates on your behalf: the raw text of AI assistant responses to your tracking prompts ("Scan" results), metadata about Reddit threads matched to your brand (title, subreddit, URL, score — not the full comment history of any Reddit user), and draft comment text we generate for you to review.

Chrome extension: the extension reads the URL of the Reddit page you're currently viewing (to look up whether it's a matched thread) and stores your login session locally in Chrome's extension storage. It does not read your Reddit password, your Reddit account data, or any page content beyond the URL.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of subprocessors to run the Service, and only share what each one needs to do its job:

Supabase — authentication and database hosting. Paddle — billing and payment processing (Paddle is the merchant of record for your purchase). OpenRouter — routes your tracking-prompt text to the underlying AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity) to generate Scan results. Apify — fetches public Reddit post data (via a third-party scraping actor) used to find threads relevant to your brand.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share your brand's tracking prompts or Scan results with any other customer, competitor, or advertiser. We do not have access to, and never ask for, your Reddit account credentials — see "How BrandinAI uses Reddit" below.

How BrandinAI uses Reddit

BrandinAI reads public Reddit post data to find threads relevant to your brand. It never logs into Reddit as you, never posts or comments automatically, and never asks for your Reddit password. Every draft comment BrandinAI generates is reviewed and posted manually, by a real person, from their own Reddit account — see our About page for more on this.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and brand data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained in case you resubscribe, and deleted on request — email us (below) and we'll remove it within 30 days, except where we're required to keep billing records for tax/legal purposes.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time — email us at the address below. If you're in the EU/UK, you have rights under GDPR to do the same; if you're in California, you have similar rights under the CCPA.

Cookies

The dashboard uses one essential cookie (set by Supabase) to keep you signed in. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
